The silk glazing machine is a core long-machine equipment in pre-printing and dyeing processes, used for the silk glazing treatment of cellulose fabrics/yarns such as cotton, cotton-blend (polyester-cotton), and viscose. It treats the fabric with concentrated caustic soda under controlled tension, followed by water washing to remove the alkali. This machine is crucial for producing silk-glazed cotton and high-end shirt fabrics, giving the fabric a luster similar to real silk, significantly enhancing dye uptake, resulting in brighter colors and better color fastness, while also reducing shrinkage and improving fabric strength and dimensional stability.
